Having first created the Sandows identity in 2015, we have worked closely with the brand – helping to grow the operation from small disruptive start up, to being the leading British Cold Brew brand. This ongoing relationship has meant a real consistency throughout all products and touch points, whilst making sure the output is kept fresh and exciting.
Over the past four years we have collaborated with Sandows to design and updated packaging, evolve the identity and several versions of the website. This has meant adjusting and introducing new strategy to ensure it remains one step ahead. Keeping the brand consistent, but agile so that it can grow and flex with the constant demands of the industry.
We worked with Lulu Ash to capture the essence of the Sandows process in their Hackney Wick Brewery. The series of medium format shots relected the craft and attention to detail involved at every stage. Production quickly scaled up, and focus was turned to the life of Sandows beyond production. Away from those making it and towards the ones drinking it.
More recently focus has been on the new range of Sandows products. With the design and launch of a brand new can and flavour range. This fits with a new strategy to look more outwardly at the people drinking Cold Brew, the spirit and atmosphere of a drink with summer at it's core.
This summer vibe was briefed to photographer Flore Diamant, who has documented ongoing casual moments and interactions with Sandows. Shooting on 35mm, this continues the natural and analgoue feel of the previous imagery.
